Kids Korner

Ages 3-5
Created especially for working parents who have children enrolled in our Preschool program! Looking for something in the morning for your preschooler to participate in? Sign up for Kids Korner and we keep your little one busy until preschool begins. Children will have fun playing games, listening to stories, watching movies, gym time, outside activities, playground time, free play and more!

NOTE: Please bring a sack lunch and a drink each day. Program follows the APD Preschool calendar, not School District #4. Kids Corner calendars are available at the Front Desk.

2-1/2 Year-Old Preschool

This program will provide an introduction to letters, number
association, calendar and seasons. Also, children will develop
socialization skills and adjust to a classroom environment. Children must be potty trained and be 2 1/2 yrs. old by September 1, 2008. Birthdate of March 1, 2006 or before. No pull-ups allowed.

Three Year-Old Preschool

Age 3
Children will grow socially and emotionally through creative art, activities, songs, and positive cooperation. Emphasis is given to color recognition, shapes, letters, and numbers. Physical growth is enhanced through gym activities and outdoor play. The children also go on field trips. Children must have turned 3 yrs. old by September 1, 2008.

4 Year-Old Preschool

Age 4
Children will develop their social skills by interacting with other children in their age group through creative art, activities, songs, games, letters, numbers, field trips, and community helpers. Your child will develop a positive self-image and be prepared for future learning through structured and unstructured activities. Kindergarten readiness skills will be stressed more as the year progresses. Children must have turned 4 yrs. old by September 1, 2008.
