Are you 60 or better? Are you looking for a group of people to enjoy good conversation, meet new friends and have an opportunity to partake in fun special events? Addison Park District Active Senior Club is the perfect place! Members of the Club enjoy a variety of activities including:

COMPREHENSIVE FITNESS RE-ASSESSMENT

$30 members/$36 non-members

Have your fitness goals hit a plateau? Everyone has their own unique body type and different fitness goals. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle or strengthen your core, our professional trainers will design a workout program just for your body type.

Each one-hour confidential appointment features:

  • Height and weight analysis
  • Blood pressure testing
  • Body measurements
  • Cardiovascular, strength, flexibility & endurance tests
  • Body fat analysis
  • Other health-related tests

Our professional trainers will give you an overall assessment of your level of fitness and a free workout regimen based on those results that will help you reach your goals. Plus, receive unlimited follow-up body fat analyses for free!

FIT AND STRONG

Do you have stiffness or pain in your lower back, hips, knees, ankles, joints, or feet? Whether you have never participated in an exercise program or you are a seasoned veteran, this program is for you! Taught by certified professionals, this awardwinning,evidence based class was developed by the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Center for Research on Health and Aging. It has been proven to benefit arthritis and its symptoms. In collaboration with the CHRA and the Center for Disease Control, Club Fitness is one of only a handful of Illinois locations who has been chosen to offer this unique program/study. This program includes 1 hour of stretching, low-impact aerobics/aerobic walking, and strengthening exercises followed by group discussions and problem solving. Participants will also receive a tailor-made exercise routine. Club Fitness membership is not necessary.

RULES OF THE ROAD

A great way to brush up on your road skills before a test! The class is offered to seniors and others who must pass a written test, driving test or eye exam to maintain a valid driver’s license.
